Nancy West

Nancy L. Holder West, 81, formerly of 180 S. Pinelake Drive, Apartment 15B, Spartanburg, died Saturday, May 5, 2012, at White Oak Manor-Spartanburg. Born June 26, 1930, in Spartanburg County, she was a daughter of the late James Herbert and Frances Elizabeth Wilkins Holder and the widow of Alvin Andrew West. She was a member of Wellford Free Will Baptist Church. Survivors include a daughter, Lynn Cumbee and husband Hank of Spartanburg; a grandson, Jason Cumbee of Savannah, GA; a granddaughter, Jessica Cumbee of Boiling Springs, SC and fiancée Nick Fisher; a brother, William Holder of Boiling Springs, SC; and a sister, Jean Johnson of Spartanburg. She was predeceased by a son, Ricky West; two sisters, Lillian Black and Mary Grant; and a brother, David Holder. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, May 8, 2012, at Pacolet Methodist Church Cemetery, conducted by the Rev. Asheton Amerson. Visitation will follow the service at the graveside.
