Nancy Millwood

Nancy Ruth Jones Millwood, 81, of Spartanburg, SC, died Thursday, October 13, 2016, at Brookdale Skylyn-Spartanburg. Born July 3, 1935, in Spartanburg, SC, she was the daughter of the late Andrew George Jones and Ida Belle Dameron Jones and widow of Harold "Bud" Dean Millwood. She was a member of Stone Station Baptist Church. Survivors include sons, Derrell Millwood of Pauline, SC and Kenneth Millwood (Missy) of Mocksville, NC; grandchildren, Nancy Anne, Kendra, Laura, Wesley, Justin, Jessica, Marion, and Chandler; great-grandchildren, Luke, Lyla, Will, and Ashley; and sister, Jean Summey of Spartanburg, SC. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a son, Benny Millwood. The family would like to thank caregiver, Pearl Sims, for her love and compassion to our parents. Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Sunday, October 16, 2016, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 East Main St., Spartanburg, SC 29307, conducted by the Rev. Ronnie Blackwell. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307. Visitation will follow the committal service at the graveside.
