Nancy Martin

Nancy Jean Martin, 79, of Roebuck, SC died Sunday, February 11, 2018 at her home. Born June 10, 1938 in Hendersonville, NC, she was the daughter of the late Arthur Eugene and Florence Elizabeth Ammons Southers. She was the widow of William Ansel Martin. Nancy was formerly a sales clerk with Rack Room Shoes. She was a member of Poplar Springs Baptist Church and of the Joy Club. She and her best friend, Joyce Bragg, were always together, attending events and outings, most especially with the Bethlehem Baptist Church Sunday School Class. Survivors include a daughter, Marisa K. Lee (Hal); granddaughter, Lauren Lee Edge; and grandson, Lathan Lee, all of Roebuck, SC. Graveside service will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, February 13, 2018 in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Road, Spartanburg, SC 29307, conducted by the Rev. Joe Burnett. Visitation will follow at the graveside.
