Nancy Daugherty

Nancy Juanita Thomas Daugherty, 81, of Cowpens, SC, died Wednesday, December 19, 2018, at White Oak Manor-Spartanburg. Born June 16, 1937, in Spartanburg County, SC, she was the daughter of the late James Malcolm Thomas and Ruby Lee Clary Thomas. A graduate of Cowpens High School, Mrs. Daugherty was a member of Cowpens First Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband of 63 years, Robert Daugherty of Cowpens, SC; children, Debbi Acuna (Pablo) of Roebuck, SC and Robbie Daugherty (Kathy) of Buffalo, SC; grandchildren, Zach Daugherty (Misty) of Okinawa, Japan, Alyse Acuna of Roebuck, SC, and Haley Acuna of Columbia, SC; great-grandchildren, Nathan, Gabe, and Benaiah Daugherty; and sisters, Jean Brannon (Dave) of Mill Springs, NC and Lynn Kuhn (David) of Spartanburg, SC. A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 AM Saturday, December 22, 2018, in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307, by The Rev. Matthew Kuhn. Visitation will follow at the graveside. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 901 South Pine Street, Spartanburg, SC 29302.
