Nancy Arthur

Nancy E. Arthur, 82, of Spartanburg, SC, passed away on Monday, July 18, 2016, at her home. Born August 23, 1933, in Spartanburg County, SC, she was the daughter of the late Gladys Chaffin and John Henry McKinney and the widow of Ben Arthur. Mrs. Arthur was a member of Cannons Camp Ground United Methodist Church and the Loving Hearts Sunday School Class. She was retired from Spartan Mills. Nancy is survived by her children, Darlene Killian, Lorraine Staton (Dennis), Joy Fowler (Jimmy), Allen Arthur (Martha), and Candy Arthur; grandchildren, Paul Killian (Crystal), Stephen Killian, Jessica Arrowood (Jeff), Kenny Arthur, Ben Arthur, Sarah Jones (Dusten), Amanda Blackwell (Brent), Will Fowler (Nicole), Ben Fowler (Alicia); 24 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Betty Bishop, Trish Baughcome (Kenneth), and Jo Sandra Abbott (Johnny); and brothers, Billy McKinney, Walker McKinney (Faye), and Donald McKinney (Jane). Visitation will be 2:00-2:45 PM Wednesday, July 20, 2016, at Cannon's Camp Ground United Methodist Church. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 PM, at the church, conducted by the Rev. Joe Blackwelder and the Rev. David Ervin. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park, 1955 Cannons Campground Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307.
