Nan Dickson

Nan Ruth Lawter Dickson, 88, of Spartanburg, SC, died Monday, January 5, 2015, at Emeritus at Skylyn Place. Born October 14, 1926, in Cooley Springs, SC, she was the daughter of the late William Foster and Sylvia Emaline Robbins Lawter, and widow of Clyde Hoyle Dickson. Survivors include her sons, Wayne Keith Dickson (Deana) of Luthersville, GA, and Jeffrey Ryan Dickson (Dena) of Houston, TX; and brothers, Clete Lawter and Bill Lawter of Boiling Springs, SC. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Friday, January 9, 2015, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main St., Spartanburg, SC 29307, by the Rev. Benny Green. Visitation will follow the services at the chapel. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307.
