Nadean Forrester

Nadean Harrison Forrester, 89, of Gaffney, SC, died Wednesday, September 28, 2011, at Brookview Healthcare, Gaffney. Born May 8, 1922, in Spartanburg County, she was the daughter of the late Arch and Katherine Cook Harrison, and wife of the late James Mallory Forrester. Mrs. Forrester was a former employee of Spartan Sportswear and retired from Hoechst-Celanese Corp. She was a member of Providence Baptist Church and a 50-year member of Eastern Star. Survivors include her daughter, Diane Forrester Lawson and husband Clyde Wendell of Gaffney; grandchildren, Kim Bradberry and husband Tony of Easley, Kandi Kindley and husband Chris of Piedmont, Terry Dean Forrester and wife Dara of Pacolet, Donnie Forrester and wife Nancy of Spartanburg, and Ronnie Forrester and wife Heather of Boiling Springs; nine great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 12:00 noon - 1:45 PM Saturday, October 1, 2011, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM, in the Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Dr. Scott Peterson. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. The family is at their respective homes.
