Myrtle Cartee

Myrtle Fowler Cartee, 80, of Cowpens, SC died Thursday, February 7, 2013 at Mary Black Memorial Hospital-ER. Born February 20, 1932 in Pauline, SC. She was the wife of the late Sid Cartee and daughter of the late Jesse and Lillie Belle Fowler. Mrs. Cartee was a member of Trinity Baptist Church and retired from Glenco Manufacturing. Survivors include her daughters: Earlene Boatman, Peggy Hannah (Robert), and Anne Shields (James), all of Cowpens, SC; Regina Presnell and eight other grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; stepson, Bob Cartee (Helen) of Spartanburg, SC; two brothers and one sister. She was predeceased by a daughter Debra Presnell. Visitation will be 7:00-9:00 PM Saturday, February 9, 2013, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Sunday, February 10, 2013 at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel by the Rev. Danny Easler. Burial will be in Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
