Muriel Jackson Hospodar, 86, died Saturday, February 5, 2011, at Magnolia Manor. Born October 11, 1924, in Erwin, NC, she was a daughter of the late William Marvin and Lena Lynch Jackson and the widow of Albert W. Hospodar. She was an RN at James Walker Memorial Hospital and later at New Hanover Regional Medical Center, both in Wilmington, NC. She was a member of St. Matthews Lutheran Church in Wilmington and also enjoyed visiting with friends of The Arab Shrine Club in that city. Survivors include a son, William A. Hospodar and wife Pamela of Inman; a grandson and granddaughter, Andrew and Emma Hospodar, both of the home; five sisters; and one brother. She was predeceased by two sisters and two brothers.
