Willie B. Hill, 94, of Spartanburg, died Wednesday, July 30, 2014, at his home. Born July 4, 1920, in Spartanburg, he was the son of the late Ed Hill and Nora Belle Murphy Hill. Mr. Hill served in the United States Army during World War II and was a member of the South Carolina National Guard. He was a fan of the Atlanta Braves Baseball team and enjoyed ushering and greeting at Second Presbyterian Church. He is survived by his beloved wife of 49 years, Jimmie Parris Hill; daughters, Pat Baca and Victoria Williams (David); grandchildren, Teri Estle (Barry), Chris Baca (Katie), Melissa Langley (Chris) and Arlie Williams (Britton); four great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM, on Saturday, August 2, 2014, at Sunset Memorial Park, 1955 Cannons Campground Road, Spartanburg, SC 29307, conducted by Rev. Steven H. Rhodes and Rev.
