Mr. William , Jr.

William "Bob" Jones Jr., 80, of Spartanburg, died Thursday, July 31, 2014, at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Born August 10, 1933 in Spartanburg, he was the son of the late William B. Jones, Sr. and Grace Kirby Waldrop. Mr. Jones served in the United States Air Force, was a district manager for 36 years with Irving Fuller Theaters that became Roth Theaters, and was a member of Green Street Baptist Church. Survivors include his beloved wife of 44 years, Rachel Greer Jones; son, William B. Jones III (Kendal) of Appling, GA, and brother, Charles Jones and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his step-mother, Beth A. Jones and sister, Sandra Martin. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 2, 2014, at Nazareth Presbyterian Church Cemetery, 680 Nazareth Church Road, Moore, SC 29369, conducted by Rev. Larry Fleming and Chaplain Donald Gibson. Visitation will follow the service at the graveside. Memorials may be made to Green Street Baptist Church, 446 Brawley St., Spartanburg, SC 29303. The family will be at the home of Glenn and Lela Greer.
