Mrs. Martha Berry

Martha Lee Davis Berry, 84, of Inman, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 28, 2013, at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. She was the wife of the late Harold Augustus Berry. Mrs. Berry was a native of Spartanburg and a daughter of the late Abe Jefferson Davis, Sr. and Lillie Lee Splawn Davis. She was retired from Inman Mills and of the Baptist faith. She is survived by daughters, Betty Large and Nancy Cagle; sons, Oneal (Mary), Larry, and Donald (Pam) Berry; 14 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; brothers, Howard, Willie (Lynn), Jimmy and Robert Davis; sister, Mary Robbins (Alton). She was predeceased by brothers, J. D., Elbert, Abe Jr., Charles, Carl, Billy, and Paul Davis; and sisters, Gladys Hammett and Virgie Ward. Visitation will be at Floyd's Boiling Springs Chapel on Monday, April 1, 2013, from 1:00 to 2:15 PM. Funeral services will follow at 2:30 PM in the chapel, officiated by Pastor Joe Geddes. Interment will be in Good Shepherd Memorial Park, Boiling Springs, SC. Grandsons will be pallbearers.
