Mrs. Faye Clinton

Lena Faye Pack Clinton, 89, of Spartanburg, SC, went to be with the Lord on July 30, 2013 at Inman Health Care. A native of Spartanburg, she was the daughter of the late Peter Chesterfield and Lou Etta Easterly Pack and the wife of the late Hubert Knox Clinton, Sr. She graduated from Spartanburg High School in 1943, Spartanburg General Hospital Training School for Nurses in 1946 and retired from Spartanburg General Hospital after more than thirty years of service as a Registered Nurse. She loved taking care of her patients as well as her family, was a devoted and dedicated wife, loved the Lord with all her heart and had a servant's heart for helping others. Faye was met at Heaven's Gate by her mother, Lou Etta Easterly Pack and father, Peter Chesterfield Pack. Joining this circle of love were also her brothers, Chester and Bobby Pack and sisters, Ruth Edwards, Virginia Ross, and Jean Davis. Survived by daughter, Andrea Clinton de Laski of Brandon, FL and three sons Knox Clinton of Fairfax, VA, Bratton Clinton of Spartanburg, and Joel Clinton of Enoree, SC; four grandchildren Hope, Heather Ann, Amy and Judson; great-grandchildren Josh, Caleb, Reed, Nathaniel, Alex and Megan. She is also survived by her brother George Pack of Spartanburg, sisters Dorothy P. Billings and Martha P. Gilbert both of Spartanburg, Margaret Beck of Boiling Springs and Betty Esposito of Princeton, NJ and many adoring nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great nephews who all loved her dearly. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM on Thursday, August 8, 2013, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main St., Spartanburg, SC 29307. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, August 9, 2013, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, by the Rev. Darrell C. McNeill. Burial service will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307.
