Mr John Sanders

John Earl "Johnny" Sanders, 65, of Spartanburg, died Thursday, February 9, 2012, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Born April 25, 1946, in Cowpens, he was the son of the late Earl Sanders and Laverne Lucille Jones. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army and of the Baptist faith. Survivors include his loving wife of 11 years, Debra Gaydos Sanders; daughter, Taura Bailey and husband Robert of Cowpens; 12 grandchildren, Stephanie, Zac, Chasity, Robert Jr., William, Austin, Justin, Storm, Matt, Cody, Zane, and Zoe; step daughters, Charlotte Willard and husband Wally of Cowpens, and Brandi Reynolds and husband Scott of Spartanburg; sister, Brenda Smith of Fort Mill, SC; brother, Eddie Sanders of Reidville, SC; and mother-in-law, Mildred Gaydos of the home. He was predeceased by a brother, Bobby Sanders. A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 PM Saturday, February 11, 2012, in Daniel Morgan Memorial Gardens, by the Rev. Richard King.
