Mozelle P. Goodwin, 96, of Spartanburg, died Friday, December 28, 2012, at Rosecrest of Inman. She was born on July 2, 1916, in Spartanburg County, a daughter of the late W. A. Powell and Mae Gault Powell Collins and was widowed from her husbands, Bob Falligant, Claude Brockett and Benjamin Goodwin. Mrs. Goodwin was also predeased by two brothers, Rembert Powell and Wilton Powell, and a sister, Doris Greene. She was retired from Sun Trust in Roanoke, VA, where she lived for almost 50 years before returning to Spartanburg. Mrs. Goodwin was a member of Morningside Baptist Church. Surviving are her daughter, Nicki (Bill) Wilson of Spartanburg; her sons, Robert E. (Joan) Falligant of Brentwood, CA and Michael K. (Christy) Falligant of Birmingham, AL; her grandsons, Michael B. Wilson (Casey) of Charlotte, NC, William C. Wilson (Karen) of Chattanooga, TN, Travis Falligant of Orlando, FL, Jake Falligant of Roanoke, VA, John Michael Falligant and Mason Falligant of Birmingham, AL; her granddaughter, Rachel Falligant of Roanoke, VA; her great-grandchildren, Miranda and Ellory of Charlotte, NC, Meghan, and Cason Wilson, all of Chattanooga, TN; and many special friends in Roanoke, VA. Cryptside service will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday, December 31, 2012, at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens Spanish Mausoleum, conducted by the Rev. John Elmore. The family will receive friends following the service at the graveside. The family would like to express their gratitude and thanks to Mrs. Goodwin's caregivers, Ruby, Earline, Crystal, Margaret, Helen and Diane.
