Missy Miller

Missy Mahaffey Miller, 59, of Spartanburg, SC, died Monday, February 20, 2023 at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Born August 24, 1963 in Spartanburg, SC, she was the daughter of the late Carl Junior Mahaffey and Audrey Warren Frady.

A 1981 graduate of Spartanburg High School, she was an avid South Carolina Gamecock fan. Missy was employed with the United States Postal Service. She was a member of St. Luke’s United Methodist Church.

Missy had such a good heart, she loved her children and dedicated her life to them and was loyal to her family.

Survivors include her son, Cody Miller (Kara) of Columbia, SC; daughter Meleia Miller (Jason) of Charleston, SC; granddaughter, Grace Miller; brothers, Carl Tim Mahaffey (Lisa) of Spartanburg, SC, Mark K. Mahaffey (Kim) of Lyman, SC; and stepbrother, Ken Frady (Erin) of Dacula, GA; “Aunt Mimi” to Mandy, Ryan, Carlton, and Collin; best friend, Teresa Sanders (Randy) of Pauline, SC; and her cats: her special, loving, faithful companions, Marshall, Gracie, and Maggie. Along with her parents, she was predeceased by a stepbrother, Joe Frady.

A Memorial service will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 4, 2023 at Floyd’s Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 East Main Street, Spartanburg, SC 29307, conducted by The Rev. Ozzy Mabry. Visitation will follow at the chapel.
