Miriam "Mim" Easler Tisdale, 94, of Spartanburg, SC, died Monday, January 5, 2015, at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Born May 12, 1920, in Spartanburg County, she was the daughter of the late Wallace "Doc" Miles and Ethel Louise Burns Easler, and widow of Charles Wilson Tisdale. A graduate of Spartanburg High School, Mrs. Tisdale retired from Spartan Mills in 1990, and was a member of Crossroads Baptist Church. Surviving are her sons, Norris Tisdale (Brenda) of Greenwood, SC, Carroll Tisdale (Linda) of Spartanburg, SC, and Norman Tisdale (Cathy) of Columbia, SC; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; and sister-in-law, Sarah Easler of Spartanburg, SC. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a son, Max Tisdale; sister, Mildred Tisdale; and brothers, Wallace and Lucian Easler. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 PM Friday, January 9, 2015, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main St., Spartanburg, SC 29307. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Saturday, January 10, 2015, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel by the Rev. David Swofford. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home, 686 Jeff Davis Dr., Spartanburg, SC 29303.
