Miriam Brown

Miriam Davis Brown, 89, of Spartanburg, SC, died Monday, April 19, 2021 at Spartanburg Medical Center. Born April 3, 1932 in Cross Hill, SC, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Ada Whiteford Davis and widow of Talmadge Luther Brown.

Mrs. Brown was a retired seamstress; past President of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary #9539, and a member of the Red Hat Society and River Hills Baptist Church.

Survivors include her daughter, Susan Simmons (Bill) of Spartanburg, SC, and nieces, Debbie Alexander and Janice Noffz of Cross Hill, SC. She was predeceased by her son, Richard Luther Brown and brother, Billy Davis.

Private graveside services will be held.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to River Hills Baptist Church, 5762 Reidville Road, Moore, SC 29369.
