Minnie Rogers McAbee, 93, of Pacolet, died Tuesday, January 4, 2011 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Born October 1, 1917 in Stone Station, SC she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Rosa Foster Rogers. She was first married to the late Aubrey Lee and then to the late Hugh McAbee. Minnie was a member of the Pacolet First Baptist Church. Survivors include three sons, Frank (Betty) Lee of Moore, Bobby (Debbie) McAbee of Pacolet, and James McAbee of the home; three grandsons, Jeff Lee of Spartanburg, Jasper (Karen) Lee of Gaffney, and Jonathan (Lindsey) McAbee of Spartanburg; a granddaughter, Jodi McAbee of Pacolet; two great-grandsons, Caleb Hollingsworth and Cody Lee; two great-granddaughters, Heather Lee and Aughtry McAbee; five nephews; and three nieces. She was predeceased by two brothers and four sisters. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 6, 2011 at Pacolet First Baptist Church Cemetery, conducted by the Rev. Tommy Sparks and the Rev. David High. Visitation will follow at the graveside. Memorials may be made to the Pacolet First Baptist Church General Fund, 310 West Main Street, Pacolet, SC 29372.
