Minnie Groce

Minnie Lee Kirby Groce, 91, of 271 Switzer Green Pond Road, died Thursday, February 25, 2010. Born May 16, 1918, in Spartanburg, SC, she was the daughter of the late Grover and Nettie Bulman Kirby and the wife of the late Arthur B. Groce, Jr. She was a graduate of Robinson's Business College and attended Oak Grove Baptist Church. Survivors include a son, Dennis B. Groce of Woodruff; a sister, Estelle Wyatt of Rockville, MD; a cousin, Gail Bryant of Startex; and a great-niece, Diane Sims of Greenwood. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, February 28, 2010, in Philadelphia Baptist Church Cemetery.
