Mills Griffin

Mills Hampton Griffin, 23, of Charlotte, NC formerly of Spartanburg, SC died Sunday, December 20, 2020 at his home. Born May 4, 1997 in Spartanburg, SC he was the son of Deneen Bailey and Roy Earl Griffin Jr. A 2020 graduate of Clemson University and a member of Sigma Nu Fraternity, Mills was a Mechanical Engineer at Crowder Construction Company in Charlotte, NC. He played Lacrosse in high school and intramural basketball in college. Mills was a member of First Baptist Spartanburg. In addition to his parents, he is survived by siblings, Emily Peyton Griffin and Bailey Elizabeth Griffin; maternal grandparents, Phillip James and Elizabeth (Libby) Oglesby Bailey, and his loving mutt, Gus (aka) Gustopher. He was predeceased by paternal grandparents, Roy Earl Griffin and Marie Courtney Griffin. Visitation will be held 12:00-1:30 PM Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at First Baptist Spartanburg, with services following at 2:00 PM conducted by The Rev. Dr. Donald J. Wilton and The Rev. Dr. Steve Wise. Funeral services will be livestreamed at www.fbs.org and after the service at https://livestream.com/fbcspartanburg/events/3447238.
