Miles Fleming

Miles Albert "Red" Fleming, 86, of Spartanburg, SC, died Friday, January 9, 2015, at his home. Born November 3, 1928, in Pauline, SC, he was the son of the late Miles Roland and Lola Mae Bull Fleming. Mr. Fleming retired from the SC Department of Transportation after 39 years of service and was a member of Bethesda Baptist Church. Surviving are his wife of 52 years, Louise Brown Fleming; brothers, Cecil Fleming and David Fleming, both of Spartanburg, and Rev. Larry Fleming of Chesnee; and sisters, Irene Fleming Owens of Roebuck and Myrtle Fleming Wyatt of Spartanburg. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Miles R. Fleming Jr.; and sister, Frances Lenora Mae Fleming. Visitation will be 1:00-1:45 PM Sunday, January 11, 2015, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main St., Spartanburg, SC 29307. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM, at the Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Larry Holland. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 2075 E. Main St., Spartanburg, SC 29307.
