Mildred Sellars

Mildred "Mamil" Elizabeth Westbrook Sellars, 83, of Moore, SC, died Thursday, December 10, 2015, at Spartanburg Hospital for Restorative Care. Born September 26, 1932, in Easley, SC, she was the daughter of the late John William and Alma Jane Sellers Westbrook and wife for 26 years of the late Fred Jesse Sellars. A member of Beaver Hills Baptist Church, Mrs. Sellars dearly loved her family, enjoyed sewing, and also loved to garden. She was a member of the neighborhood "Golden Girls" with her dear friends Callie Reynolds and Erma Satterwhite. She retired from Stouffers in Gaffney after 21 years of service. Survivors include her son, Shane Sellars and wife Judy; grandson, Jason Hord and wife Tara; and great-granddaughters, Mackenzie Hord, Madison Hord, and Alexa Hord, all of Rockwell, NC. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by brothers, Gary Westbrook and Jim Westbrook; and sister, Bonnie Westbrook. Visitation will be 12:00-12:45 PM Monday, December 14, 2015, at Beaver Hills Baptist Church. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 PM, at the church, conducted by the Rev. Dr. Garold Thomas. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Beaver Hills Baptist Church, 3700 South Church Street Extension, Roebuck, SC 29376. The family is at their respective homes.
