Mildred Comer

Mildred Prince Comer, 94, died Sunday, August 22, 2021 at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Born September 8, 1926 in Spartanburg, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Mollie Banks Prince and the widow of Edward Norman Comer Sr.

Mildred worked for the RMC office in Spartanburg. She was of the Baptist faith. She was the last of 14 siblings.

Survivors include her son, Harold Lewis Comer of Spartanburg, SC, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was also predeceased by her son, Edward Norman Comer, Jr.

A Cryptside service will be 2:00 PM Friday, August 27, 2021 in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens Heritage Chapel Mausoleum, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Road, Spartanburg, SC 29307.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Mildred Comer Memorial Fund, P.O. Drawer 1530, Spartanburg, SC 29304.
