Mildred "Mickey" Johnson, 80, of Spartanburg, SC, died Thursday, February 5, 2015, at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Born March 22, 1934, in Spartanburg, she was the daughter of the late William Bryson and Nellie Easler Moore. Mrs. Johnson was a member of Canaan Baptist Church. She enjoyed her family and friends very much and loved to shop and go to yard sales. She attended Cecil's Business College and was formerly employed with Sears. Surviving is her beloved husband of 61 years, Clarence Lee Johnson; daughter, Terri Johnson Lancaster (Carl) of Roebuck, SC; grandson, Rob Welborn (Bethany) of Spartanburg, SC; granddaughter, Megan Lancaster of New Orleans, LA; brother, Frank Moore (JoAnne); sister-in-law, Kaye Moore; and special friend, Pearl Harrison. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by two sisters, Dot Owens (Cotton) and Sarah Wood (Quenton); and a brother, Lewis Moore. Visitation will be 1:30-2:45 PM Saturday, February 7, 2015, at Floyd's North Church Street Chapel, 235 N. Church St., Spartanburg, SC 29306. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 PM, at the Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Tom Sawyer. Also, her grandson, Mr. Rob Welborn will share special remarks. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307. Memorials may be made to Gateway Baptist Church, PO Box 160086, Boiling Springs, SC 29316.
