Mildred Cook

Mildred Lee Cook, 81, of Pacolet Mills, SC, died Sunday, October 10, 2010 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Born August 2, 1929, in Pacolet Mills, she was the daughter of the late Archie and Geneva Whiting Lee and wife of the late Frank Newton Cook. She was a member of Brown's Chapel Baptist Church. Survivors include two daughters, Frankie Turner of Spartanburg and Joey Jones and husband Robbie of Union; a son, David Cook and wife Linda of Aiken; four grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and a brother, Doyle Lee and wife Mildred of Pacolet Mills. She was predeceased by a granddaughter, Sherry Turner. Visitation will be 7:00-9:00 PM, Wednesday, October 13, 2010 at Floyd's Pacolet Chapel. Funeral services held at 3:00 PM, Thursday, October 14, 2010 at Floyd's Pacolet Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Bill Cloer. Burial will follow in Pacolet Memorial Gardens.
