Mildred Anderson

Mildred Ella Dickson Anderson, 87, of Spartanburg, died Saturday, April 30, 2011 at White Oak Estates. Born December 24, 1923, in Red Hill, GA, she was the daughter of the late John Robert and Ella Presley Dickson and wife of the late Hershel Henry Anderson. Mrs. Anderson was a member of Tom's Creek Baptist Church in Martin, GA and a graduate of Franklin County High School, GA. Survivors include her daughter, Angela Anderson Brady Brown of Royston, GA; a granddaughter, Amy Brady Sims and husband Wayne of Augusta, GA; a great-granddaughter, Olivia Grace Sims of Augusta, GA; and a sister, Thelma Dickson Oller of Champaign, IL. She was predeceased by her sons, Dean and David Anderson; brothers, George, Norman, and Hildred Dickson; and sisters Edna Dickson Hill and Nancy Dickson Price. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, May 3, 2011 in Pacolet Memorial Gardens, conducted by the Rev. Allen Dean Blanton.
