Mike Gilreath

Michael Leon Gilreath, 63, of Roebuck, SC, died Thursday, October 10, 2013, at his home. Born January 1, 1950, in Spartanburg, SC, he was the son of the late Boyce Quintin Gilreath Jr. and Geneva Seay Keeter. Mr. Gilreath attended Selma Baptist Church and was employed by the SC Department of Transportation. He loved to sing and play guitar, was an Elvis Presley fan, enjoyed motorcycles and trading classic cars. Survivors include his beloved wife, Theresa Richey Gilreath; sons, Tony Gilreath (Christy) of Roebuck, SC, and Matt Gilreath of Spartanburg, SC; granddaughters, Ericka Gilreath, Lindsey Elam, and Emma Bigby; grandsons, Drew Gilreath, J. C. Elam, Evan Bigby, and Caiden Gilreath; and sister, Lynn Hysmith (Bill) of Jacksonville, FL. Visitation will be 7:00-9:00 PM Saturday, October 12, 2013, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main St., Spartanburg, SC 29307. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Sunday, October 13, 2013, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, by the Rev. Fred Quidley. Burial will be in Westwood Memorial Gardens, 6101 Reidville Rd., Moore, SC 29369. The family is at the home of Mike and Theresa.
