Mike Dukes

John Michael "Mike" Dukes, 67, of Spartanburg, SC, died Tuesday, January 17, 2017, at his son's home in Campobello, SC. Born May 7, 1949, in Atlanta, GA, he was the son of the late Charles and Eldna Maude Yawn Dukes. Mr. Dukes was employed with Spartanburg Steel Products for 34 years and Walmart for 19 years. He was of the Freewill Baptist faith. Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Cathy Jean Wilson Dukes; son, Shannon Dukes (Tanya) of Campobello, SC; grandsons, Tyler Dukes and Chandler Dukes of Campobello, SC; sisters and brothers, Carol Moye of Fayetteville, GA, Janet Rabold (Michael) of Newnan, GA, William Dukes (Bonnie) and Tommy Dukes (Teresa), both of Jonesboro, GA; mothers-in-law, Joyce Walker of Spartanburg, SC and Ann Wilson of Hampton, GA. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a son, Jamie Dukes; and daughters, Ashley N. Dukes and April Greene. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 PM Thursday, January 19, 2017, at Floyd's Boiling Springs Chapel, 4161 Hwy 9 N, Boiling Springs, SC 29316. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Friday, January 20, 2017, at Floyd's Boiling Springs Chapel. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park, 1955 Cannons Campground Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307.
