Mike Cantrell

Michael Laverne Cantrell, 56, of Spartanburg, SC, died Monday, May 25, 2015, at Spartanburg Medical Center. Born October 8, 1958, in Spartanburg, he was the son of the late Robert Ellsworth Cantrell and Betty Anne Easler Cantrell. Mike was an avid fisherman, racing fan, and self-employed auto mechanic. He was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include sisters and brother, Deb Rogers (Harold) of Clinton, SC, Linda Greenway (Lanny) of Cooley Springs, SC, and Al Cantrell (Donna) of Savannah, GA; nieces and nephews, Ashley Moss (David), Jeremy Greenway, Cody Greenway, Rob Cantrell, and Matt Cantrell (Kelsey); and great-niece and nephew, Sarietta Moss and Liam Moss. Visitation will be 10:00-10:45 AM Thursday, May 28, 2015, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main St., Spartanburg, SC 29307. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 AM, at the Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Alvin Burdette. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park, 1955 Cannons Campground Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307.
