Mignon Bonner

Mignon Lanford Bonner, 94, of Spartanburg, SC, died Sunday, September 29, 2013, at White Oak Estates. Born December 8, 1918, in Woodruff, SC, she was the daughter of the late Belton O'Neil Lanford and Lillie Belle Cox Lanford, and widow of Benjamin Calhoun Bonner. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. A graduate of Winthrop College, Mrs. Bonner retired from teaching in District 6 after 37 years of service. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Spartanburg, a member of the Maranatha Sunday School class, the Prayer and Study Group Circle, and Young At Heart. A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 AM Thursday, October 3, 2013, in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307, by the Rev. Sal Barone and the Rev.
