Michael Sanders

Eddie Michael Sanders, 63, of Spartanburg, died Thursday, September 6, 2012, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Born September 22, 1948, in Spartanburg, he was the son of the late Tillman Wilburn and Virgie Quinn Sanders. He was a retired millwright. Surviving are his wife, Teressa Blanton; son, Steve Sanders and wife Jodi of Cowpens, SC; grandson, Rusty Lee Sanders; and brother, Jack Sanders and wife Brenda of Spartanburg, SC. He was predeceased by a son, Tillman Lee Sanders. Visitation will be 7:00-9:00 PM Friday, September 7, 2012, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. Services and burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Lung Association, 2030 North Church Place, Spartanburg, SC 29303. The family is at the home of Mr. & Mrs. Steve Sanders, 1770 Battleground Road, Cowpens, SC 29330.
