Michael Quinn

Michael Dean "Mike" Quinn, 59, of Pauline, SC, died Wednesday, May 2, 2012, at Mary Black Memorial Hospital. Born October 26, 1952, in Spartanburg, he was the son of Dorothy Allen Quinn of Pauline and the late James D. Quinn. Mr. Quinn was retired from Bell South after 30 years of service and attended USC Spartanburg. He was a member of Philadelphia Baptist Church, a Shriner, and member of Spartanburg Moose Lodge #2363. Surviving are his wife of 38 years, Linda Elder Quinn; daughters, Dawn Quinn Holtsclaw and Catherine Quinn, both of Pauline; son-in-law, Joe Holtsclaw of Roebuck; grandchildren, Hanna, Matthew, and Emily Montgomery, and Logan Brooks; sister, Janet Hayes Malone and husband Thomas Craig Malone of Chapin, SC; and four nieces. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 PM Friday, May 4, 2012, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM Saturday, May 5, 2012, at Philadelphia Baptist Church, Pauline, SC, by the Rev. Joshua C. Jennings and the Rev. Charles M. Eaton. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family is at the home.
