Michael John Lindsey, 69, of Duncan, SC, passed away on Friday, March 21, 2025, at his home. Michael was born on October 5, 1955, in King’s Lynn, England. He is predeceased by his mother, Mary Josephine Larkin Lindsey Oliver, his father, Charlie Roe Lindsey, and his brother, Joseph Lindsey. He is survived by his beloved wife, Lisa Michelle Lindsey, his daughter, Dana Lindsey Powell (Blake), his grandchildren, Luke, Oliver, Scarlett, and Charlie, and daughter, Tiffany Ford Hall (Andrew).
Michael and his family migrated to the United States when he was 8 years old. He spent a long career serving in the US Military, first in the US Army for 3 years, then in the US Marine Corps for 14 years as an aircraft technician. He served as a Gunnery Sergeant during his deployment during Desert Storm.
Following his military career, Michael worked in several different types of businesses. He worked for many years as a chemical operator in Roebuck, was a personal trainer, and lastly worked with Vaughn Belting. Michael enjoyed working out, fitness training, running, shooting, Florida beaches, and fellowship with others.
Friends and family will be received on Wednesday March 26th 4:00-7:00 pm at 333 Highland Springs Loop, Inman, SC 29349
A gathering to honor and celebrate Michael’s life will be held in Georgia at a later date.
