Michael Knox

Michael Dean Knox, 55, died Monday, March 15, 2010. Born June 30, 1954, in Spartanburg, SC, he was the son of Myrtle Irene Peeler Knox and the late Billy Dean Knox. He was employed at Milliken, attended Hammett Grove Baptist Church, and volunteered with the Pacolet Fire Department and Rescue Squad. Also surviving is his wife, Judy Knox; sons, Lance DuPre, and Brandon Knox and wife Nicki; daughter, Ashley Knox; grandson, Clayton Knox; sister, Sandra Hughes and husband Michael; and brother, Gary Knox and wife Cindy. Visitation will be 6:00-9:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 17, 2010, at Hammett Grove Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 18, 2010, at Hammett Grove Baptist Church conducted by Pastor Buddy Hogan. Burial will be in Pacolet Memorial Gardens.
