Michael Edwin Henson, Jr., known for his beautiful gentle spirit, passed away on April 22, 2024. He was born to Michael Edwin Henson, Sr. and the late Juanita Henson on September 9, 1971, in Spartanburg, SC.
In his role as a Medical Equipment Courier, Michael was dedicated and hardworking. He took pride in his job and cherished the interactions he had with the people he served. His kind and gentle nature made those around him feel special, and he built meaningful connections with everyone he met.
Outside of work, Michael found joy in attending car shows, particularly showcasing his beloved Dodge Challenger. His enthusiasm for cars was infectious, and he always found a way to share that passion with others.
Described as very loving and extremely kind, Michael valued his family above all else. He had a special bond with his mother, Juanita Henson, who preceded him in death. He leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter to be carried on by his surviving family members.
Michael is survived by his daughters Christina Turner (Roger) and Jessica Berrios (Shelby), father Michael Edwin Henson, Sr., sister Wendy Alley (Steve), brother Donald Henson, grandchildren Jayden Berrios, Hunter Berrios, Leah Turner, Kayleigh Wilson, Kayden Wilson, and Scarlett Hayes, as well as loving nieces and nephews.
Those who knew Michael will remember him for his fun-loving spirit and contagious laughter. He had a gift for making those around him smile and creating cherished memories with his family. His presence will be deeply missed but forever treasured in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him.
