Michael Harris

Michael Calvin "Mickey" Harris, 60, died Wednesday, February 9, 2011 at W. Palm Beach Veterans Medical Center, FL. Born July 13, 1950, in Spartanburg, he was the son of the late George Calvin Harris and Gladys Pryor Harris Medford. Mickey was a disabled Vietnam veteran having served with the U. S. Army. Survivors include his daughter, Brandi Harris Kellner of Spartanburg; three sons, Michael (Blue) Harris and Calvin (Cowboy) Harris both of Florida, and Kolt Harris of North Carolina; four grandchildren; and a sister, Nancy Harris Stephens of Boiling Springs, SC. He was preceded in death by a sister, Brenda Harris Elder, and a brother, Tony Bob Medford. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 PM Friday, February 18, 2011 at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. Graveside services, with military rites, will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, February 19, 2011 at Sunset Memorial Park.
