Merle Rosenberger

Merle Elizabeth Horst Rosenberger, 93, of Spartanburg, SC, died Tuesday, June 25, 2013. Born October 12, 1919, in McKeesport, PA, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Margaret Hoffmeister Horst, and widow of Harvey Rosenberger. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Spartanburg. Survivors include her sons, Harvey Rosenberger (Karen) of Roebuck, SC, and Gary Rosenberger (Carla) of Moore, SC; grandchildren, Michelle Wertz (David), Saundra Daniels (Larry), Daneen Kinley, and Scott Rosenberger (Karen); and great-grandchildren, Sloane, Carley, Rebekah, Hannah, Jessica, Samantha, Mikayla, David and Chase. She was predeceased by brothers, Harry Horst, Edward Horst, and Herbert Horst; and sisters, Zelma Farmer, Ida Mansfield, and Charlotte Billick. A graveside service will be conducted at 10:00 AM Friday, June 28, 2013, in Boiling Springs Memorial Gardens, 4161 Hwy 9 N., Boiling Springs, SC 29316, by the Rev. Sal Barone. Visitation will follow at the graveside.
