Melissa Foster

Melissa Ann Arnold Foster, 75, of Spartanburg, SC, died Wednesday, January 22, 2014, at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Born January 28, 1938, in Spartanburg, SC, she was the daughter of the late James Crawford and Annie Lucille Lipcombe Arnold. Mrs. Foster was a retired registered nurse with DHEC Home Health Care and a member of White Stone United Methodist Church. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Joseph "Joe" Lee Foster Jr., of Spartanburg, SC; daughter, Julia Foster Krebs-Haas, son-in-law, Robert "Bobby" Haas, grandsons, Foster Krebs, Crawford Krebs, and Conrad Haas, all of Columbia; granddaughter, Amber Shields and great grandson, Aiden McGraw, both of Spartanburg, SC. She was predeceased by a son, Joseph Lee Foster III. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 PM Friday, January 24, 2014, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main St., Spartanburg, SC 29307. A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 PM Saturday, January 25, 2014, in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307, by the Rev. Walt Ballenger and the Rev. Tommy Hill.
