Melissa D. Small

Melissa Dale Small, 70, of Gaffney, South Carolina passed away peacefully on Friday, April 4, 2025.

She was the daughter of the late Harold D. Motts and the late Bonnie Rilla Motts. She was also preceded in death by a son: Aaron Michael Knighten; and three siblings: Bonnie Mangum, Marshall Motts, and Richard Motts.

Melissa was a loving mother and grandmother. She was a former facility director in the health care industry. She was loved by all who had the privilege to meet her. She will be greatly missed by everyone that knew and loved her.

Left to cherish the many memories of Melissa are her son: Adam Knighten and his wife Mackenzie ; her grandchildren: Landon, Lydia, and Ladson; also four siblings: Anthony Motts ( Jean), Jerome Motts (Betty), Carla Motts, and Keith Motts.

The arrangements are entrusted into the care of Floyd Greenlawn Chapel.
