Meldora Lee Harmon, 82, of Spartanburg, SC, died Friday, October 9, 2015 at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Born March 15, 1933 in Spartanburg, SC, she was the daughter of Viola Owens Lee and the late Boyce Turner Lee, Sr., and the wife of the late Erwin Harmon. Mrs. Harmon was employed at Blackmon-Uhler, Pharmacy Consultants, Spartanburg County Library Book Mobile, and Girls Scouts Office. She loved being involved with many organizations, which included the Order of Eastern Star as a Worthy Matron in 1964-1965; the Order of Amaranth as a Royal Matron of Piedmont Court #14, Spartanburg in 1965-66 and at state level as Grand Royal Matron of South Carolina in 1984-1985. She was a member of Golightly United Methodist Church. Survivors in addition to her mother include daughters, Myra H. Smith (Nelson) and Lisa H. Wood (Jimmy); grandchildren, Jessica Key Glenn (Seth); Lora Key Callahan (Chris); Caleb Smith (Amber); great grandchildren, Matthew Dorfman, Ella Glenn, Alice Glenn, Sarah Glenn, Journey Scates, and Jazzalynn Smith; and a brother, Boyce T. Lee, Jr. (Brenda). Visitation will be 11:00 - 11:45 AM, Monday, October 12, 2015, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 East Main Street, Spartanburg, SC 29307. Funeral services will follow at 12:00 PM in the chapel, conducted by the Rev. Marvin Crowe. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Road, Spartanburg, SC 29307. Memorials may be made to Golightly United Methodist Church, 34 Coastline Drive, Inman, SC 29349. The family will be at the home of Myra and Nelson Smith.
