Melanie Pressley

Melanie "Mel" Truesdale Pressley, 56, of Inman, SC, died Monday, October 7, 2013. Born January 10, 1957, in Spartanburg, SC, she was a daughter of William Lewis and Sybil Genevieve Burnett Truesdale of Inman, SC. She was of the Baptist faith. In addition to her parents, she is survived by a granddaughter, Brianna Turner of Spartanburg; grandson, Thomas Fulgham of the home; sister, Linda Truesdale Page (Carroll) of Boiling Springs, NC; brother, Kenny Truesdale (Teresa) of Boiling Springs, SC; several nephews; and one great-niece and nephew. She was predeceased by a daughter, Shannon Fulgham; and a brother, Tim Truesdale. A memorial service will be conducted at 11:00 AM Saturday, October 12, 2013, at Floyd's Boiling Springs Chapel, 4161 Hwy 9 N, Boiling Springs, SC 29316, with her brother-in-law, the Rev. Dr. Carroll Page officiating. Private burial, at a later date, will be in Boiling Springs Memorial Gardens. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the Spartanburg Humane Society, 150 Dexter Road, Spartanburg, SC 29303. The family is at the home.
