Maxine Schrimsher

Wanda Maxine Schrimsher, 74, of Spartanburg, SC, died Monday, August 4, 2014, at White Oak Manor-Spartanburg. Born October 29, 1939, in Philadelphia, TN, she was the daughter of the late Luther and Gertrude Smith Schrimsher. She was a member of Hayne Baptist, now United Baptist Church. Among survivors are her sister and brothers, Bennie Schrimsher, Jeanette Waddell, and Bruce Schrimsher, all of Spartanburg, SC, and Gene Schrimsher of Boiling Springs, SC. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by sisters, Eva Schull, Florence Fleming, and Ruby McLaughlin; and brother, Joe Schrimsher. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 AM Thursday, August 7, 2014, at Floyd's North Church Street Chapel, 235 N. Church St., Spartanburg, SC 29306, by the Rev. Robert Emory. Visitation will follow the services. Burial will be in Fort Prince Memorial Gardens.
