Matthew Rutledge

Matthew Neal Rutledge, 42, of Campobello, died Sunday, February 23, 2014. Born August 3, 1971, in Spartanburg, he was the son of Brenda Waters Rutledge of Inman, and James Sidney Rutledge, Sr. of Wellford. Matthew was devoted to family, friends, and especially his son, Bradley, whom he loved so much. He was a licensed motorcycle mechanic and owner/operator of Rutledge Power Sports. A graduate of Chapman High School, he held multiple certifications in motorsports including ATV's and jetski's, and he dedicated his life to racing motorcycles. He was of the Baptist faith. Visitation will be 7:00-9:00 PM Tuesday, February 25, 2014, at Floyd's Boiling Springs Chapel, 4161 Hwy 9 N, Boiling Springs, SC 29316. Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 PM Wednesday, February 26, 2014, at Floyd's Boiling Springs Chapel, by the Rev. Jeff Rutledge. Burial will be in Boiling Springs Memorial Gardens, 4081 Hwy 9 N, Boiling Springs, SC 29316. The family is at the home of his mother, Brenda Rutledge.
