Mary Lee McIntyre Worthy, 86, of 361 Cleveland Street, Pacolet, died Wednesday, June 6, 2012, at White Oak Estates-Spartanburg. Born December 23, 1925, in Spartanburg County, she was the daughter of the late John Henry and Bertha Leonna Harvey McIntyre. Mrs. Worthy retired from Spartanburg District 3 with over 19 years of service. She was a member of Pacolet First Baptist Church. Surviving are her husband of 56 years, Harry Worthy; son, Dale Worthy and wife Roxie of Pacolet; grandsons, Jason Worthy and wife Audra of White Stone and Will Worthy of Pacolet; great-grandson, Abel Worthy of White Stone; sisters, Nellie Epps of Clifton and Annie Mae Waters of Rutherfordton, NC. She was predeceased by her sisters, Essie Mae McCraw, Margaret Burrell, Myrtle Goode, and Betty Ruth Kirby; and brother, Ralph Cash. Visitation will be 6:30-8:30 PM Friday, June 8, 2012, at Floyd's Pacolet Chapel. Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 PM Saturday, June 9, 2012, at Floyd's Pacolet Chapel, by the Rev.
