Mary Tessiner

Mary Dunnaway Tessiner, 86, of Pacolet, SC, died Sunday, May 4, 2014, at her home. Born October 30, 1927, in Cherokee County, SC, she was the daughter of the late Roscoe and Sally Millwood Duncan. She was a member of Eastside Baptist Church and retired from Pacolet Mills. Among survivors are her children, Linda Burgess of Moore, Ray Dunnaway (Janet), Dennis Dunnaway (Diane), James Dunnaway, all of Pacolet, and Henry Dunnaway (Kaye) of Spartanburg; 12 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her first husband, Sam Dunnaway; her second husband, Fred Tessiner; and a daughter, Dorothy Duncan. Visitation will be 2:00-2:45 PM Wednesday, May 7, 2014, at Floyd's Pacolet Chapel, 141 Memorial Dr., Pacolet, SC 29372. A graveside service will follow at 3:00 PM, in Pacolet Memorial Gardens, conducted by the Rev. Mike Royal. The family is at the home of Mary Sue Tessiner.
