Mary Tessigner

Mary Elizabeth Bryant Tessigner, 70, of Jonesville, SC, died Thursday, October 20, 2016, at Mary Black Memorial Hospital-Spartanburg. Born April 12, 1946, in Spartanburg, SC, she was the daughter of the late Dorsey and Mabel Wooten Bryant. Mrs. Tessigner loved her church, her Lord and her family, and enjoyed plants, flowers, and pets. She was a member of New Life Worship Center and retired from Home Health Care and Doctors Memorial. Survivors include her husband, Fred "Billy" Edward Tessigner; sons, Billy "Joey" Tessinger (Lea Ann) of Jonesville, SC, Chad Tessigner (Jennifer) of Pacolet, SC, and Christopher Adam Tessigner of the home; grandchildren, Dacey, Abby, Hope, and Lydia Tessigner, all of Pacolet, SC, and Elizabeth Tessigner of Spartanburg, SC; sisters, Wilma Gowan, Judy Jennings, and Patsy Thornton, all of Spartanburg, SC; step-grandson, Blake Painter (Kortni) of Jonesville, SC; step-great-granddaughter, Adelynne Painter; and a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by brothers, Joe Bryant, Dallas Bryant, and Leonard Bryant. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 PM Saturday, October 22, 2016, at Floyd's Pacolet Chapel, 141 Memorial Dr., Pacolet, SC 29372. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Sunday, October 23, 2016, at New Life Worship Center, by the Rev. Cathleen Cathcart and the Rev. Bill Pickel. Private burial will be at a later date.
