Mary Temple

Mary Anne Temple, 73, of Spartanburg, SC, died Saturday, April 18, 2015, at Emeritus at Skylyn Place. Born March 26, 1942, in Spartanburg, SC, she was the daughter of the late Robert Allison Puette and Julia Bell Hoover Puette, and widow of Paul Lewis Temple. Mrs. Temple loved interior decorating, sewing, and gardening. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Spartanburg and retired from Michelin Tire. Surviving are her sons, Bobby Mills (Pat) of Clarksville, MD, Joe Mills (Beth) and Eddie "Satch" Mills (Melanie Joseph), all of Greenville, SC, and Matthew Benjamin Mills of Miami Beach, FL; grandchildren, Boogie, Katie, Madison Grace, Cassidy, and Cortney; sister, Lana Merrill of Spartanburg, SC; and sister-in-law, Alice Puette of Belton, SC. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by infant son, Johnny Mills; and brother, Robert E. Puette. Visitation will be 7:00-9:00 PM Tuesday, April 21, 2015, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main St., Spartanburg, SC 29307. A graveside service will be conducted at 11:30 AM Wednesday, April 22, 2015, in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307, by the Rev. Sal Barone.
