Mary Howell

Mary Thrasher Howell, 84, of 113 Anita Drive died Sunday, July 18, 2010 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Born October 4, 1925 in Waynesville, NC, she was the daughter of the late Dewey Andrew Thrasher and Deamy Lee Greer Thrasher Adams. She was a member of Southside Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband of sixty-nine years, Howard Howell; two daughters, Karen Sanders and husband Thomas C., and Myra Corbin and husband Grady W. all of Boiling Springs; a brother, Calvin Thrasher of Anderson; six grandchildren and 3 great granddaughters. She was predeceased by two brothers, Malvin Thrasher and Jessie Greer Adams; and a step-father, Jessie Adams. Funeral Services will be at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, July 22, 2010 at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, conducted by the Rev. David M. Blanton. Visitation will follow the service. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
