Mary "Lib" Elizabeth Johnson Suttles, 83, of Arcadia, SC, died Tuesday, September 15, 2015, at RoseCrest Healthcare Center-Inman, SC. Born April 12, 1932, in Startex, SC, she was the daughter of the late Fitz Hugh and Minnie Mae Hughes Johnson and widow of Fred Truman Suttles. She was the last surviving family member among 10 brothers and 2 sisters. Mrs. Suttles was the eldest member of Life Changers Church. She retired from Springs Industries and Wal-Mart at Dorman Center. Surviving are her daughters, Wanda Harter (Sammy) and Sherry Carter (Rev. David), all of Boiling Springs, SC, and Dana Suttles of Arcadia, SC; 3 grandchildren, Teresa Seay, Rev. Travis Carter, and Joy Chavis; and 10 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, brothers, and sisters, she was predeceased by a son, Vincent Suttles; and grandson, Bryan Harter. Visitation will be 7:00-9:00 PM Thursday, September 17, 2015, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main St., Spartanburg, SC 29307. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM Friday, September 18, 2015, at Life Changers Church, by the Rev. David Carter and the Rev. Travis Carter. Burial will be in Good Shepherd Memorial Park, 4164 Boiling Springs Rd., Boiling Springs, SC 29316. Memorials may be made to Life Changers Church, 8349 Valley Falls Road, Spartanburg, SC 29306.
